World’s longest cigar set to be rolled in Cuba – and it’s enormous

Master Cuban stogie roller Jose Castelar Cairo, known as ‘Cueto’, is endeavoring to break his own reality record set in 2011.

His new record endeavor will need to beat the stogie he moved five years back which measured a great 81.8m.

The 67-year-old started his record endeavor on August 1 and he wants to at last finish it by August 12 – the length of his endeavor doesn’t go up in smoke.

In the wake of setting his fifth world record, he said: “Cuba is the nation where the best tobacco is developed, and the length of Cueto is around, Cuba will have the world’s longest stogie.”

Guinness World Records say: “The longest stogie measured 81.80 m (268 ft 4 in) and was made by Jose Castelar Cueto at the La Triada shop at Parque Morro-Cabaña in Havana, Cuba, on 3 May 2011.

“Cueto began to make the stogie on 25 April 2011, however just completed at night of 2 May. The stogie was authoritatively measured on the next day.”
